• Perfect Restoration Fit: Engineered to seamlessly replace cracked, brittle, or completely missing factory original plastic housings.
• Pre-Stamped Configuration: Includes pre-molded, factory-correct hole cutouts specifically aligned for original twist-in light bulb socket harnesses.
• Body Exclusions Warning: These round-pod style housings are structurally mapped exclusively for 1971–1972 Chevelle coupe, sedan, and convertible models. They do not fit El Camino or Station Wagon platforms, which route their tail lights entirely through the rear bumper corners or tailgate.
• Component Exclusions: This item is strictly the backing plastic housing bucket. Exterior red lenses, chrome accent rings, backing mounting seals, and bulbs are sold separately.

  Installation Tip

Most dim or flickering tail lights on classic Chevelles are not caused by bad bulbs, but rather by poor electrical grounding at the housing. When installing the new bucket, ensure the socket tabs make tight, clean metal-to-metal contact with the harness grounds. Additionally, you may need to slightly loosen the mounting bolts on your rear bumper to create enough clearance to safely slide the housing onto the body sheet metal without scuffing your car’s paint job.
