1966 Inner Taillight Bezel to Body Gaskets
1966 Inner Taillight Bezel to Body Gaskets, are critical reproduction rubber components designed to mount directly between the inner section of the rear tail lamp assembly housing and the sheet metal body. Because the 1966 Chevelle rear layout is notorious for letting trunk water pass through or letting toxic exhaust fumes seep into the cabin if unsealed, replacing these deteriorated factory seals is mandatory during any rear brightwork restoration.
- Targeted Location: These fit on the inner track (at the bulb socket side) of the tail lamp assembly rather than the exterior outer lens edge.
- Packaging Configuration: Sold exclusively as a Left-Hand (LH) and Right-Hand (RH) matched pair
- Material Integrity: Die-cut from premium weather-resistant soft sponge rubber or EPDM compound to properly compress and fill uneven factory sheet metal gaps.
- Exclusions Note: These are strictly the housing-to-body gaskets. They do not include the thin plastic lens gaskets or the outer quarter-panel extension seals, which are sold separately.
